First, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has kept my family in your prayers. It has meant and helped more then you can know!

Well, hubby finally went back to the doctor last night. His heart is fine (thank God). His abnormal reading and the problems he has been having are due to severe stress and anxiety. However, due to his size and overall health, combined with the stress, the doctor says he is still a prime candidate for a heart attack. So he is currently being kept on light duties and will be seen weekly by the doctor for the next little bit. The doctor has given him some medication to help him deal with his stress and hopefully that will help. Unfortunately then biggest part of his stress (his dad) is getting worse and not better. So while he is not out of the woods yet, he is better then we anticipated. We are both working on bettering our general health so hopefully, with time, he will be doing better.

Thanks again for your continued prayers. I know in my heart that it made a difference.

I'm glad to hear it was not a heart attack. Perhaps your FiL needs some help to get over his loss too.

That's great that it's nothing really serious if you know what i mean?. I keep telling Gil not to stress himself over his soon to be ex wife but he just can't help it, and i tell him that he's letting her put him into an early grave

Hopefully the medication can calm him down though.

I'm glad to hear his heart is OK. Stress can have such wide reaching effects. I hope the measures he's taking will help him be healthier soon.

The news is pretty good. Can you seek out a class for him on stress reduction. I took one about 20 yrs ago and it really helped. Just sitting down with him and asking what his stresser's are should help too.

Oh, that's so good to hear. And it's great that he's gotten a heads-up on this, so you can make whatever changes are necessary!

So glad for you both!

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Ady - what absolutely wonderful news! I'm sorry he's got the genes for it and the stress - but hope the meds help!

Thanks for the update. I've been wondering.
