Hello. I'm Robyn. I have 2 cats... a 2 yr old old Chausie breed female(black/brown spotted/stripped tabby color)... and a new 8 week old black male kitten. My 8 week old kitten is betwen 8 and 9 weeks and has a Grade 2 Heart Murmur and a slight over-bite. He is adorable and lovey-dovey, cuddly, cetracetra. But anyways... I was just wondering If i can get some advice. I am calling my vet in the morning, but i was wondering on some advice on here. My kitten comes with a sad story but i'll only say it if requested.

I have always had cats since I was a little girl. I put my oldest cat down at 7 1/2 yrs for health issues(obested and heart issues). And I am just trying to gain advice and knowledge on my new kitten so that I can make his life as long and happy as I possibly can.

My kitten. He was in a litter that got sent to a petstore by a breeder.... the petstore then had the kittens health checked out... he came back being "unhealthy"... the petstore told the vet to put him down... well.. the vet just couldn't due to a kind heart to a otherwise healthy kitty who loved life with a passion and had the sweetest nature.. So the vet called a rescue group who takes in "lost" causes... well they posted him on petfinder.com... after a week, he was still online(while i kept watch online)... when i saw he was still there after a solid week, and they had no response on him... i went by and brought him home. He is here forever.. I named him BlackJack.. the rescue group had named him Sprocket, but that didn't fit right so I naturally changed it... He loves it.. He comes when his name is called. But anyways. I would post a picture of him, except i dont know how..

I believe so too.. But He makes me feel very awed.... He lets people do whatever they want to him and he doesn't complain and doesn't meow loud either... but he does love to cuddle and sleep... I'm not sure if its from kittenness or if its from the murmur.. I'll find out... But he loves to pester his 2 yr old "mommy". lmao. HOw do i post pictures on here??

I'm bad at this....but I use www.photobucket.com Create a free account. Upload photos into that account. Then click "edit" above each photo. Then click "resize".....then "message board" from the drop-down menu. Once the pic is resized, copy the "IMG Code" & paste it here.....either in this thread, or start another thread in Fur Pics!

Hope that helps you some!

Have you Googled grade 2 heart murmurs in cats? Or searched the Health & Nutrition forums? Those are my only ideas at this point!

Hello & welcome to TCS. BlackJack is gorgeous, I'm sure the vet will put you right. One of my sons has a heart murmur which is checked every 2-3 yrs.
