Rita the basset hound pup...updated 6 week old pics!

A week from tomorrow (June 1st) she'll be home with us! These pics aren't current, as she is now 7 weeks...so they're late! Sorry! Anyway, she had her first vet visit last week, and her first set of vaccinations, and another de-worming. She now looks like a full-fledged basset hound, and we're absolutely crazy about her!!!





Anyway, there you go! The next time you may see her, she'll be home with us at 8 weeks of age...stay tuned!

You know, I love to watch kittens/puppies learn to walk, but it must be especially difficult for a Bassett pup with those ears!

She is a doll, makes me want another one The joy we had from raising them for so many years and the fun, we used to get one of there ears and stick it in there mouth and they would all take off in different directions thinking they had something good I had a litter of 10 one time and man oh man what a blast, biggest problem was the 3 Daughters all wanted to keep different ones as did DH They are great dogs

VERY cute pup! I used to have a basset when I was a kid. They're great dogs and lots of fun.

What a sweetie Rita is. She brings back memories of the bassets we had growing up, Sophie and Betsy. They were the sweetest girls.
