I know a few very, very devout Christians whose faith inspires me. But not their religion. There's such a huge difference IMO.
I think that people with no faith at all may well lead empty, lonely lives. But you don't know that. Their belief system may just be that they don't have personal faith. It's different, sure, but it may not be a worse way to lead your life.
i would never call myself a devout christian, however i have often found people that run around and claim there is no god, etc, to be very unhappy people. There is balance that as to made. I have familiy that has taken the christian thing to far, and familiy that has goen the other way to far(lol please note, my mother and father have like 22 borther and sisters between them so i have lots and lots of coursins etc
for those that say there is on proof in the bible, you are of course wrong.
many things in there have been proven to be true. Of course there are some things that have yet to be proven or cant be, but that is where the world faith comes in. With out faith you may as well just give up and roll over. Casue then nothing you say or do in life has any real meaning.
lol i am not the preaching type christian, i really dont care if you go to heaven(more elbow room for me) or hell, or just rot away after your death. I guess i failed that part of sunday school
you can make jokes all you want but once you die, you will have your answers one way or another.
lol and i have much more faith that i am the one that is right lol
