The one wet food, if you can call it that, that my female Kabou really loves and eats with any consistency since all the recalls is plain cooked chicken. Actually, she was a little finicky even before the recalls. I was feeding Natural Balance canned. She will like a wet food for a day or two, then just takes a few bites and walk away. I only feed her the good food, but most recently Wellness canned and Eagle Pack canned. I've tried homemade, which she ate only a tiny bit of. She does have a sensitive stomach, especially this time of year when she tends to have hairballs. I had her almost totally on wet before the recalls, but switched to CA Natural kibble for my male, who won't eat much wet food. Now Kabou is loving the kibble again, which I didn't want.

My question is, is there anything wrong with giving her canned and dry for one meal and boiled chicken and dry for her second meal? Or, would it be okay to forget the canned altogether and go with just chicken? Does chicken alone have more calories? I have noticed she's added some extra weight during all this and I don't want her to gain any more. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated. Oh, I did try giving her on a couple of small bites of raw chicken breast (organic) and she ate it, but I haven't taken it any further I guess because I'm not ready to do it.

Boiled chicken breast is far from complete /////

I would say if you wanted to try homemade get the other ingrediants for a complete meal ...

Chn breast for a snack every so often is great chn breast every day is not a great thing evan with other things that are balenced as it could throw it all off

Sharky, as always, you have the answer. I am so glad I asked! Quite frankly, she eats quite a bit of boiled chicken almost every evening. Back to the drawing board and thanks again.
