I apologize for offending anyone

I don't think I've been offended for real very often on TCS, and certainly never by you.

I guess a danger of being online is that suddenly the one person in a million who would be offended by you is suddenly right there.

Like, I am probably the only person I know who thinks the word 'tool' (like, he's such a tool) is obscene and offensive, but I don't get offended by it for the most part because I know that isn't the intention of the person saying it.

No one here has ever offended me. I've disagreed with someone from time to time, but that is totally different.

(Takes off mod hat). I don't get offended easily since I am also outspoken in real life and speak my mind. I do however really hate to see beautiful young women have garbage coming out of their mouths. I look at them and see beauty and then they open their mouth and suddenly they seem very ugly. There are thousands of nice words in the dictionaries of the world - no need to use crude language. I know not everyone feels that way about it, but a lot of people do. IMO (and this is only my opinion), it indicates a lack of education and sense of self-worth.

I'm also very careful about use of certain language around children and try to be especially careful here on TCS since it is rated G and is a learning site.

OK now back to my mod duties and away from personal feelings.

I don't know if there is something in particular that happened. But I've never seen anything that she's wrote on here to be inappropriate or offensive or anything... But obviously she feels pretty bad to post an apology over this...

I've never seen an offensive post by you.

We all have used other words instead of swearing on here. We have tried to keep it PG.But, I have seen a few posts that I might add were NOT from Nat, that have used foul language and it offended me right to the core.But, I just let it slid for the most part as I am not a Mod and can not dictate who can say/post what on here.
I feel that as long as you are respectful and do not say the cuss words, then it is ok.......unless it is REALLY vulgar.
I know this is a family site, and we have to keep it as clean as we can.But, as I said sometimes you just post in the heat of the moment and use a alternate word thinking it is appropriate only to find out it is not.So, you learn from that and know not to use that word again.
Nat, you are a very sweet, loving, caring person who had the unfortunate experience of finding out that something is not appropriate for using here.Just don't beat yourself up over it sweetie!!!Learn from it, and be a better person for realizing how much you are loved by all the members here on TCS.
