Hello from Amany

Hi all
I want to intoduce my self and my family. I am Egyptian, living in a nice town called Ismailia, Egypt, with my 10 years old lovely duaghter and our three cats:Ginger, Cherry and Nala. All are cute Persians. I hope to share with you my love and concerens for my cats.

Hi there Amany. Nice to have you here. I've been to Egypt once, but only to do the tourist trip along the Nile, from Luxor to Aswan. You're very lucky to live in such a beautiful country.

Historically of course, the Egyptians held the cat in very high regard, and I'm glad you've got persians - I love them, have 2 of my own.

How do they cope in the extreme heat you have during summer?

Thank you all for your kind welcome. Yola, at hot weather, we all hide in AC rooms. I know how it will be harder for my cats at the weather. Ismailia is not as hot as Luxor or Aswan as we are in the Northern part of the country and we have a nice lake with beaches.

Egypt! Wow....can we switch places for awhile? It's snowing here and I probably have 4 more months of it! I would love some heat right now.

Plus, it will give your kitty's a break from the heat...yeah...I think for the sake of the kitty's I will have to sacrifice myself and make you change places with me!

Welcome! It is nice to have someone from yet another interesting place. We have people from all over, and it is always nice to hear about people and places many of us will never get the opportunity to see. My Dad visited Egypt many years ago, and always said it was so beautiful. We beg shamelessly for kitty pictures here, so if you have any, we would love to see them!
