Wow- apparently Fancy has a little case of torti-tude tonight!!! little rugrat is trying to be a little snapping turtle!!!! I was petting her a minute ago (she's sitting on the couch with me - and apparently she does not like her tummy petted she opened her mouth and in slow motion bit my hand she also does not like it if you pet her back right above her tail- she will try to attack you when you do that then she'll roll over and give kisses i think i should nickname her baby snappy!

we have a kitten at the shelter that is nursing and he is fiesty! His eyes are really bad and he can't see very well the poor darling. he kept on going into the water dish luckily I keep on catching him and drying him off before I left today I checked on him and he was nursing and then sleeping. poor kid has had it rough. we are putting eye ointment in his eyes and the lady who runs the shelter said he bit her hard when she went to put eye ointment in his eyes. he is very fiesty. I just laughed.

Is he congested as well??? (sounds like if his eyes are a mess it could be conjunctivitis as a result of herpes- pro-biotic/terramyacin both work REALLY well as far as eye gels go- also be sure he's on antibiotics- albon, amoxi, or clavamox all are good.) If his nose is stuffy- he might not be able to smell his food as well so he might not be eating good as a result- go to walgreens and get some Neosynepherin (or the walgreens version in the blue/white box) and just put a tiny drop (there's a dropper with them) in each nostril. OR you can get the "Little Noses" decongestant (used on kids) all of those are great. It will unstuff his little nose and make it easier for him to smell his food- also give him something soft (soft food) that is very pungent so he can smell it well. That should help a great deal!
