I can't wait to see it, but will probably have to wait until it is on DVD. Isn't Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones playing Jack's father in this one? From what I understand, Johnny Depp based alot of Cap't Jack's mannerisms on Keith Richards and that he was thrilled to ba in the new movie. That should be interesting!

I heard that too! It's probably just a cameo appearance, but it's KEITH RICHARDS! That is such a fun idea! I can't wait. I LOVED the 1st two, although the second got a little slow when they were all fighting over the chest. IMO. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and now Keith! What a cast!

BTW, my littlest brother looks a lot like Orlando Bloom. Sorry, ladies - he's taken.

I agree! I haven't seen anything or remember anything about the monkey holding the gold coin.

OH, there *IS* no other choice for a movie this weekend besides Pirates... it's rather like when the Harry Potter movies come out or when, not now, of course, but back when LOTR was running..

Who cares how the plot is... (not that I expect anything less than good...but).. um.. Orlando and Johnny lookin all bad*ss and hot.. Someone throw Kiera off the deck, please, they need a new leading lady....(me! me! pick me!)... anyway, is there any guy watching movies better than Pirates and/or LOTR...??

Actually, I like her, but that doesn't suppress the urge to tear her eyes out in a fit of jealousy rendering her incapable of starring opposite those two.

At the end of the first one it was the monkey. At the end of the second one it was the dog sitting on the throne.

Since we will be in Des Moines for a CFA show this coming weekend, we may plan on PC3 on Monday (mentioned it to DH). We've seen all the movies
All have been great. DH doesn't think this one (from previews) will be as good, but I disagree - think it will have awesome special effects


So I'll give you my opinion of the movie next week after we see it. BTW my next Ocicat will be named (chocolate-silver) Captain Jack Sparrow

Ill wait a week to see it: I went to Spiderman 3 opening weekend and that was a little too ridiculous for me, especially considering they ran out of Nachos.....heres hoping its better than the second one!

(but with Johnny Depp, theres no way it could be bad....too yummy!)

I am so going this weekend if I get the chance! I want to go to a matinee so it's cheaper though.

I went to see it last night. It was awesome! And I think the it is the funniest one of the series. There were some pretty hilarious scenes with Capt. Jack
If you get a chance to see it go for it!!
