Anyone notice when Jordin was singing her last song, they showed Melinda in the audience she had the weirdest look on her face like a mixture of disgust and bewilderment...I Tivoed it, and just watched it again, it's crazy

Blake would probably be better off not winning so he can make the type of album he wants to make as opposed to what AI selects for him.

I know I haven't been around much, but of course I have to comment on AI (and Lost)
Blake:
He did a great job on YGLABN as usual...I actually prefer the beat boxing in this version than the first. It just seemed to flow better. The Maroon 5 song was really good too, I actually think he does better than the original singer live.
Jordon:
Her first song was alright...I don't really care for the song anyway, but she did a good job on it I guess. Her second song just annoyed me. Any song about overcoming adversity and living your dreams just bugs me anyway. But she did sing it really well, as well as she did before.
Speaking of annoying songs, that brings me to the original. Well first, Jordon did alot better with the song than Blake did, but only because it's more suited for her and not for him...and I definately thought that Simon saying that she wiped the floor with Blake was rude and not called for. We all know she did better, he didn't have to phrase it that way. As for the song itself, It was LOUSY... "This is my now!" just the title makes you want to gag...it's like last year "This is my destiny!!!" Again, any song about blah blah blah, this is what I was meant to do, this is my time to shine, I'm overcoming blah blah blah, it's annoying! Like I said too, the song was more suited to Jordon and that's why he didn't do so well with it. I think probably the only guy who could've pulled it off decently was Phil. They honestly need to go back to what they did last year and have two seperate songs, that way you're not comparing one to the other....actually they should have songs written FOR the particular person, or let them write their own stuff, or just do something that allows them to shine as performers. I know it's a singing competition, but who we're voting for has to be entertaining, and we have to know who THEY are as performers, so if they make an album, we know what to expect from it. Showing that you can sing all different sorts of styles and not put my originality into it doesn't show anything.
As for Chris...hated the eyeliner, hated the performance. The whole performance had no energy, sounded flat, and he seemed bored to be there like "God, didn't I do this already?" Only Elliott seemed truely happy to be back and appreciative.
Well anyway, enough of my rambling. I still want Blake to win although not winning will still be success, but I know Jordon will take it...probably by a wide margin. My wife is just happy that he's in the finale and not Melinda
