I'm very happy to say the little tortie has already been adopted!
I knew she wouldn't be here for long. She was a long hair too. So cute!

I do, but not uploaded. I'll try to get it loaded to show you.

I would have to get a shirt with 10 pockets and fill them each with a kitten!
Gracie's babies are actually my next foster litter.
They'll be coming to the house sometime this week. I can't wait to play with those little fluffballs!

Those poor babes...
Aren't bottle babies the best. It's so sad the reasons why they end up bottle babies
, but the bond you create with them is so special. I just love going over and feeding all the bottle babies all the time. I've been feeding a little black one right now that a foster home almost killed!!
She didn't read the directions for their formula and was mixing one scoop of KMR with an entire large container of water. Needless to say, they got sick and skinny in only a week. (They were starving!). So the lady brought them back to the rescue and we unfortunately very sadly lost one.
We thought we were going to lose this other little black one, but he's bouncing back and I just love feeding him. He's a little piggy now.
HOW CAN YOU NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! THESE ARE LITTLE LIVES IN YOUR HANDS! I wanted to go over her house and

Anyways...on a more positive note - I spent 2 hours taking photos of all the kittens today (new and old ones). I'll have to get more up for you guys.

So much sweetness! How do you ever let them go?
Sprite looks like our Fluffy when my SO rescued her. She grew up to be a gorgeous girl.

Actually - as cute as they are - it's not that hard to let them go once they ransack your house.
Climbing curtains, running around like nutcases so you trip all the time, the occasional "oops" when they get too lazy to use the litter box, etc.

You know, it's not that complicated to read up on how to make KMR. Heck, most places, when you buy it, they tell you exactly how to mix it!

No kidding huh! and the rescue told her how to mix it TWICE and told her to call with any questions. She said later that she mixed it wrong cause she couldn't read the small print on the can
HELLO!!!! First of all she is a teacher.
, second of all we told you to call for any questions.

Yes and no. They are both eating fine and coming along, but the little orange one there is a possibility that he's got some kind of brain damage or something. His foster mom says he's doing well, but still flops to one side like he doesn't have the strength in him. We're hoping with age that that improves, but you never know. To have your eyes open completely and still fit like a little newborn in the palm of someone's hands is not a good sign.
Keep your fingers crossed for him.

And I still haven't had time to upload more pics!! I've been flat out with adoptions, photographs, petfinder, and now.....a new man!
I'll get to it eventually. We counted 60 kittens today at the rescue. So sad. Then idiots come to adoption and say things like - "I have to spay or neuter if I adopt one of your cats?"
Seriously we had a woman say this today. I was like - "how do you think all these babies got here? Irrisponsible people like you. Don't bother filling out an application"
