I just got a new big plant in a big pot. Of course, one of the cats has started to use it as a litter box. Anyone have any ideas as to how to stop this behaviour?

I assume that the dirt is exposed? I would cover the dirt with big pebbles, which would make the surface not conducive to using as a litter box...

thats what we do with our house plants - it make them more interesting too - try other things like glass beads, wine bottle corks, pine cones - watch out for seedlings though
