Oh my god I'm so creeped out right now!
Last week I was laying in bed and I heard Squee playing with something. I thought it was a wrapper. She was by the foot of my bed, right across from my computer chair. I lifted up a pillow thing and her cat bed and saw a few black NASTY bugs crawling around! They were blackish, sort of looked like larvae but they were crawling. I went and killed them and that was that.

Well just now I heard more scuttling by Squee and said, "Oh god, I hope it's not bugs again" and lifted up some stuff sitting by this big wooden bench and saw MORE of the nasty things. I pulled out the bench and there was this big nasty beetle looking thing (a bit longer than a piece of rice) and three or so of the black larvae things (looked like they had little hairs on them). I also saw a little tiny orangey creature like the black things. Well we sweeped out from under there and I found a cheese Goldfish cracker that the bugs were eating.

So now I want to barf. I spend literally all of my time in here and now there's bugs! Jeeze I just want to exterminate this room now.

Yuck!! I hate finding bugs, especially squirmy ones. My cats never seem to kill them though, just play with them- which forces me to squish them.

Over the river and through the woods...
Ewwww...now I'm creeped out too! I wouldn't have a clue what they are but I would definitely get it checked out. Mainly, because the way my parents found out they had termites is because they started seeing thin little bugs about the size of a grain of rice. They didn't worry too much, until they swarmed (about this time of year too). Mom said she went in the kitchen and they were just pouring out from under the stove and fridge, like an army of bugs invading! I'm not saying that's what they are, but I would get an inspection just in case!

Good luck.

I think I found out what sort of bug they are. They may be carpet beetle larvae or pantry beetle larvae. The latter eat wheat-type food and crackers, which I found them eating. I threw out the cracker they were eating and swept out that side of that room. Anyone think that should keep most/all of them away? I hate bugs...

When Fred catches a fly, he eats it. Gross, but makes me proud he's doing his "house work".

Sorry to hear about your bugs.

Scratch loves to eat moths when they come in at night. Squee's more of an ant girl.
