I just learned.......

My son is a packrat

Friday was the last day of school here and I'm just now getting around to cleaning out his backpack. OMG! That child has more junk then I've ever seen. He must have 100 pencils, 2 pencil boxes full of crayons, markers and erasers, along with a ziplock bag full too. 2 calculators, 4-5 books, his reading agenda, flashlight , pictures of the cats and dog, instruction manual to the dvd player , suckers, hairbrush, cds, necklaces, straws, stapler, thumbtacks, a sweatshirt..... I could go on and on What does a 2nd grader need all this for? No wonder he says his back hurts sometimes

Yikes! And I thought my son was bad! He has heaps of drawings everywhere and he doesn't want to throw them out!

Like your son, my son takes the strangest things to school, but the instructions to the dvd player?

Thats funny! I distinctly remember attempting to carry so much home from school, the last day of second grade too!, that the bag my techer gave me broke! She had to give me another! I'm still a packrat!

OMG I bet thats what Jim was like when he was young. Hes now grown and has our basement full and storage units all over town full. Stop your son now!!!!!

Well, he's known for taking things apart and putting them back together. Maybe he needed it for that?

He found out that I went through it today and just about killed me
