My two long haired are having a problem with cat litter sticking to their bums and getting all matted up. They don't seem to know how to clean themselves.
I try to bathe them daily, but during the night they get all matted up. Their bums are so red from the irritation.
Any suggestions on keeping their hair from matting up? Should I trim it around there? What can I use to help their poor sore bums and what gets the matts out?
