Hi!

I would like to put my kitty litter box with clumping litter in my bathroom. I wonder if that is ok for 1) the litter and 2) the cat/kitten because when I shower, it could get steamy in there. Will this affect either, or will it be ok?

I've always had the litter box in the bathroom. Plus it's easy to care for there too. I scoop each time I go in there, and seeing that I have to clean the box in the tub periodically, it's right there.

I have mine in the bathroom too, scooping out the dirty litter gives me something to do while I am sitting in there.

We have 6 in our 2 bathrooms. The steam doesn't seem to affect litter.

I have the litter box in the bathroom too. It's in the bath, as we don't use it anymore (rather shower), & it contains the spilt litter. If your worried, do you have an exhaust fan in your bathroom?

A lot of people have the litter box in the bathrooms with no problems in bath/shower. I don't see why it should be a problem.

Does your bathroom have a little fan in it to draw out the moisture? Or can you open a window slightly?
