I carry a Levi's purse I got on sale at Goody's. I have a black leather holster purse, but I carried it every day for 17 years and it is pretty raggedy. I still carry it sometimes, though.

and I got a different one and I cant find it
Yes I searched for it
I will have to take a pic to show u!

My mom though has gotten a nice blue on though today at the flea market it was nice

Also I have a rip off of LV and it has cherries on it

BTW I am very choosy on purses and I used to hate carrying them but i have too
But it takes me a while to decide unless there is one that I like a lot loL!

And of course I have my playboy bunny one
I also have a Luis Vuitton rip-off (it has "LC" mongrams, instead of the "LV" ones!). I got it for $17.99 at Ross (a discount store); and frankly, I'd rather have it, than the original--it's held up well, and no hefty price tag. Believe it or not, I that WalMart has great bags, if you don't have to have leather all of the time. I had the same style in 3 colors of one bag about 4 years ago; I paid $9.94 for them. I liked the style so much, I asked hubby to copy it in leather for me. I also have a $4.94 fake leather (though it looks and feels realistic) that I've used off and on, and bought at the same time. I gestlots of compliments on my WalMart cheapo bags!

I'm kind of anti-fashion with handbags. Around here, there's such snobbism about which handbag you carry, and I'm tired of tall, blond, gym-toned arrogant yuppies banging into me with their handbags in stores, and not saying, "I'm sorry". The Animal Rescue Site has their version of those popular Dooney & Bourke monogram bags--but with their logo, a paw print! I love it--and plan to get one, so, the next time I get "pursey-whipped", I can think to myself, "Hmmm. You think your're so politically correct and therefore superior to me. What did YOUR handbag do for someone? Oh, support slave labor in China. What good did MY bag do? I provided 24 bowls of food at shelters with my purchase!" Sorry to be so bitter and twisted about handbags...

I also like, even though they're ugly, belly bags, especially while flea-marketing. I never carry a big bag with lots of stuff in it, anyway. Just my wallet, checkbook, something to write on/with, and tissues. I'd love to eliminate carrying a handbag!

I have a black medium-size Aigner bag. I never "change" handbags (like with different outfits), so I like to buy just one really good bag and carry it for years. I also agree with the above poster about short straps - HATE those! Mine hangs about hip-level.

It's funny that you say that, if you want a purple one, you can build it. Just click on the website and have a go with it.

I have lots and lots of purses!! I am using this big tote currently but switching out to my fake LV shortly. I am pretty organzined to what I carry so I can switch out to another pretty quickly!! I also have my briefcase with me alot as I carry lots of stuff in that for work that I am not carrying in my purse. I will also carry another briefcase (a freebee) for reference books and yet another one to carry suntan lotion, change of clothes/socks, towels and stuff like that when I am working. Also my water jug and small cooler for lunch. With this much stuff my truck can get quite messy looking!!

That used to be me!
So I've gone smaller. The purse I have now is from Wal-Mart, a $5 clearance. It's well packed and drives the guys at the x-ray scanners crazy. (I have 2 rings and a pair of tweezers which, when properly aligned, looks like a pair of scissors.)

I have been reading a blog written by a woman who worked for an exclusive community and one noticed the fashion of women carrying HUUUUUUUUUUGE purses. She said it appeared some of the women could actually fit into their purses.

I'm all about function: I use an oversized, men's black leather belly bag (fanny pack). I carry it over my shoulder when not on the bike, strap it around my middle when riding.

I have ONE Liz Claiborne small dressy shoulder bag for when I'm in a suit, going to an interview, etc.

Years ago I just used to carry a wallet in my back pocket, LOL...

I don't use a purse. I have tried before but it feels unnautral and what not to me. Plus I always misplaced them. For the past two years I have used a biker wallet (with chain). Works well for me. But people look at me strangein this small town for it.

I have used backpack style purses for years. The shoulder bags just keep falling off of my shoulder...I am now using a Fossil style, but I have a black Coach that I use in the winter..

I don't carry a "purse" - its a "pocketbook".....

Anyway its about medium size with several divided compartments. I just pick out a color I like from WalMart or one of the other little stores. I do NOT pay any attention to "brand names". I just don't understand the attraction to have a brand name pocketbook/purse.

Nuh uh...might give me away!
I have a Petal Pink Vera Bradley bucket tote. I LOVE IT! I also have a few accessories in the same pattern. One thing I love about the VB bags...if they get dirty, just throw them in the washing machine.

And to the person who was talking about the Paws Galore bags from animal rescue site...be careful. I had one where the straps broke off within a week, and I nearly cried! I still love it, but it didn't hold up well at all.
That's why I decided to go for a VB bag.

i have one of those too.
i bought it first, thinking i'd like it. but it was a smidge too big for me for a purse. so i use it to tote my lunch and other stuff to work. it's great. the metro is my perfect purse size (and i like the handle). i also love that timbuk2 still makes all of their messenger bags in the USA.

i would have more bags, but the price holds me back.
i did get the cell phone case for the strap. LOVE IT!

Ohhh I used the samething for years. After college mom bought me a leather Fossil bag. I don't care what brand it is, as long as it is under $20. I prefer the long straps than the clutch kind. As long as I can fit my cell and cigs then it's the right size for me.

Well, if you've got to be bitter and twisted, at least it's for a good cause!
