I need your help!

I need to buy a car in the next week, and I think I won't be able to find the car I actually want..sooooo...

Tell me all about your car, if you love it, hate it, any problems you've had..etc...

I have a feeling I will have to look at domestic cars (
) So, anyone and everyone please let me know about your vehicle.

Thanks guys!

I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla that I just bought in October. I LOVE it! I get great gas mileage, and it is sporty looking. I just sold a 1994 Corolla that still ran with few problems. I love Toyotas. As long as you change the oil, they will run forever! Good luck on your car hunting.

I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix - and I love it. It drives really smooth, the seats are amazingly comfortable- but the only thing I don't like is the gas mileage, it gets about 25 highway, but I want something a bit better. But otherwise, I adore it. I've never had any mechanical problems with it either- the only thing I've had to do to it in the year I've had it, is new tires, which was to be expected.

we have a 99 pontiac grand am. i don't love it, but don't hate it either. it's a car. i've had cars i've loved before, and cars i've hated. this one is in neither category. it runs good. but has had tons of AC problems. it's mileage isn't great, but not horrible either.

DH and i would like to get something else. we're thinking honda, toyota, nissan or mazda. basically something we love with working air conditioning.

We have a Mazda 626. I don't love it but I don't hate it. It's not exactly what I wanted, but it is all we could afford at the time. we have had it for a while and it overall has done well. We had a problem with our transmission, but it does have a real lot of miles on it! It gets nice gas milage and runs smooth.

2006 Honda Accord, loaded with extras. We got a good deal on it cause it was the dealers demo, have under 3,000 miles on it.

It's comfy, great on gas, a four door.

It looks dressy but sporty at the same time, and the dark blue is easy to keep clean.

There's only one thing I'd change about it, the radio tuner is a reach when you're driving, but they've got one on the steering wheel for preset stations, guess I need to pre-set, huh?

I drive a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. It's pretty basic but it's good on gas and not too difficult to repair and for the most part I haven't had too many problems with it but I haven't had it for too long yet either.

I know you and I have shared PMs etc. about this and you're probably rolling your eyes at this post
. However, I'm really enjoying my little red Aveo. It's been great on the highway and on gas consumption.

When I was working in Hamilton, I would get about 500km speeding at 130km (oops....) for a tank of gas (about $40 CAN). That was 7-8 70km trips. If i'd stayed in the 110 range I would have got a bit more.

My 4 yr lease is under $300/month, plus I got AC, a sunroof, a mp3 capable CD stereo, cruise control and power locks and windows.

As you know, some others I was seriously thinking about were the FIT, the Yaris and the Nissan Versa. They all seemed to be the most affordable, but the Aveo was just a little better in price for all the extras.

There are a few cars here that John drives and I ride with him (I rarely have to drive), but MY current car is a 1975 Volkswagen Super Beetle. But I can't drive it yet, we just picked up an engine for it today and we're going to try to get it in it this week. I've had the car for over a year and haven't driven it yet, I'm getting impatient! LOL. I love my car.

I had a ford escort and for a 89 it ran like a champ...I loved that car. Right now Id like to get a Volkswagon because they are reliable cars as long as you take care of them...I really want a Jetta...Unfortunatly it looks like Im getting a 00 cavalier but I dont like them. The handling is shakey and sometimes it feels like you have no control. From what Daves mom says the gas mileage is great...If it were my choice tho..I wouldnt get one. A Corola is a good car, Daves sister has a new one and it handles like a dream. The g.m. is great and they are super comfy to sit in for long periods of time...

I say go a Toyota! They're so reliable, and generally have a very good name. We had a Camry back in Australia, and bought an '06 Prius last year and have loved both cars. DH had an old Corolla before that and loved it also, except he drove it off the road into an enbankment and could no longer drive it...
So he switched me to be a Toyota person and I don't think I'd go anything else now.

We have a toyota echo that's good on gas and it's been good to us. We've done a bunch of trips in it too. DH doens't quite fit comfortably in it because he's so tall, but thats the only complaint. We also have our nissan sentra and I love it. I drive that usually. We've had it about a year and a half now. It's not quite as good on gas but it's ok. We'd have gotten a toyota corolla but DH doesn't fit in that too good either.

We've got a 99 Grand Am. We've got more invested in repairs on that car than the purchase price. I would never reccomend one!!

We've also got a 2006 Impala. It is an awesome car!! Roomy, 30 MPG highway. Everyone I've talked to with an Impala loves their car!!
