Wow, my grandma and I were going to put Smokie in with Mika, but Mika was hissing at Smokie, so I said, no, I don't think I trust Mika around Smokie's kittens, since she was hissing at poor Smokie. And I switched the totes that all the babies were in, because Mika's babies were climbing out of the one they had, so my grandma told me to switch them. Which we both know it's normal kitten behavior.
But it would be easier for Mika to get into it now. And Mika just started bathing Smokie's kittens. lol But I was still afraid she might kill one, so we moved them, because nursing 8 kittens, I don't think so Mika. I don't want to stress the poor girl out more. So Smokie has her kittens, and Mika has her kittens. But I thought it was funny that Mika was bathing Smokie's kittens. And I don't know what I am going to do to rehome of the babies, and moms.. I don't want to take them to the Humane Society.. Or anykind of thing like that, because I think that would be irresponsible of me.. And I hate the fact that I won't get too long of a good bye for all of them.
Maybe they will post mom and kittens on Petfinder? Should I e-mail some of the people around me to put mom and kittens on there? And get homes lined up? For everyone, then my grandma won't have a million cats around her house. lol She has 4 outdoors that she likes to feed, and 1 indoor. She feeds them, and they go. So these are wild cats she is feeding. So she can't catch them to spay or neuter any of them. But thats a different story. But Mika, and Smokie deserve a good life. And they aren't allowed back down here.
But I was considering rehomeing them anyways. So they can be indoors the rest of their lives, but this would drive Mika insane!! lol, But not Smokie. Smokie loves it indoors!! But what do you guys think I should do? E-mail rescues, and shelters around me? Thank you for reading!

~If you PM me with your location I can go through my book of rescues....I work with rescues all over the US....and see if I can pull some strings for you to get them in with a good non kill rescue. I wouldnt tell you to take them to your local shelter because alot of them are kill shelters and you wouldnt want them being put on a time limit of how long they have. There are MANY good rescues out there that will take them in and will keep them as long as needed to get them adopted. Rescues run extensive background checks etc before placing them and they will be spayed/neutered before leaving so no more babies for Smokey and Mika!~
