Yep, they are going with their kittens..
I hate it, I love these cats so much. I have gotten very attached.. And I don't know what to do, and if anyone here is inerested in them, then tell me on this post, they won't go until their kittens are weaned though.. I don't know what to do with them. Thank you for reading..

The sad thing is, I don't really know.
I might give them to a rescue. So they will get spayed. When their kittens are weaned, because I would hate to put that kind of pressure on the babies right now. Right now both cats, and kittens are at my grandma's. But I told my grandma I would rehome both mothers so she doesn't have to feed two more cats. And she can't have them inside, because George hates other animals. Although he is declawed, but he is a grumpy old boy. I just don't get it either... Smokie was just roaming the house, and she told me that she wouldn't put up with it... Just because she is roaming the house for pete's sake!!
It might be better for them anyways.. To go to new homes.

Why don't you put up an ad on petfinder.com or craigslist.com with pictures and have an adoption fee and require a spay or neuter appointment be made in order to adopt them if you can't do it first? Rescues and no-kill aren't just going to take in all those cats with open arms. You will have to pay a surrender fee at least if they can even get the cats in.

you sound like a young person who has no choice. I'm sorry your grandma isn't more helpful, but I'm sure she has her reasons.

try your best to find them good homes, and don't pay attention to people who make you feel bad or ashamed about it.

Can you keep them at your house? maybe some friends? If you find a rescue and they want a fee to take the cats in, maybe you could volunteer for them, instead of giving them $

just suggestions to try.

also, beware of craig's list, a lot of scammers go on there.

I don't agree....many good citizens aren't going to want to have to do "follow ups" with adoptors to ensure that these cats are fixed and what happens down the road if the adoptor changes his/her mind? No....please contact local rescue groups and if that doesn't work out...then contact your local shelter. Many shelters that aren't "no kill" at least have rescue groups that work with them.

My grandma is helpful she took them in when my mom kicked them out of our house. But she is broke from helping my sister.
Thats why she can't do anymore than what she's doing. But I appreciate that she has taken them inside.

first off, let me apologize if I sounded like I was disrespecting your grandma. I never meant to do that.
If you've done all you can do, then you shouldn't feel bad about re-homing them. You've already done more than a lot of people would do, and you should feel good about that.

It's ok.
But, I still don't know, if Maxy finds a good low cost Spay/neuter clinic, then we can do that, and the shots, and things, we do ourselves, so it's cheaper, but I just have to get my mom to get them at the vet, and tell her the one's from the store don't work as well. And tell her to talk to the vet about it.

I don't know where you are located, but in my area we can get spay/neuter vouchers for $25 each. That's for a regular scalpel spay, not the laser. If you pick up the shots at the vet, they don't charge for an office call, just the meds. Just be sure you get the air out of the syringe and just put the needle under the skin. Your vet will show you how if you want. In my state, KY, we aren't allowed to administer the rabies vacc ourselves, it's the law that the vet has to do it. BUT, you can have that given at the same time as the spay surgeries. I know somebody on this site would know where to tell you to go for help in your area.

Also, you can save some money by buying the frontline on line. just google it, and you can find the cheapest place. I get my friends to order with me and we get free shipping that way. And if your kitties get to play/hunt outside, you need to worm them every 6 months or so. Very inexpensive, just tricky sometimes to get the pill down some of them.
