Hi. I live in Texas. My name is Janeice. I have been married for almost 33 yrs. We have a grown son.
I have these 2 kitties that are about 8wks now. My hubby found them in our barn when they were about 3 weeks old. I am keeping one of them for myself, if my doggy will allow it,..lol. My best friend has agreed to take the other one when she gets her house moved. That should be in a month or so. I have never had a cat before so this is a real experience. They are climbing on everything! I started spritzing them with water when they get on something or do something that I want to discourage them from doing.
At night when its time for bed, I put both kitties, oh by the way, their names are Butterbean which is a blond tabby, and Cheech that is a gray tabby. Cheech is my friends kitty and she named him. Anyway I put them in a large crate with their litter box. And they leave me such a mess to clean up in the mornings...lol We have a enclosed breezeway they I will put them in when I need to get something done around the house. They love it out there. But then they want to come see me too.
Ok enough of my jabbering. I would love to hear from you. I need any and all advice on what to do in general. I have started their shots. The vet tested them for the HIV and leu? ( sorry dont have a clue how to spell that). Both were negative!
