My cat has made very short trips (only 2 hours long) 2 times a year. She does rather well but....this time it's different. This time I will be traveling from Spokane, WA to Yuma, AZ. About a 22 hour drive....I am very nervous having my cat travel. Here are my concerns:
~ WILL my cat eat and drink at all? If not, is that cause for concern? What do I do about it?
~ What about a sedative? Is that safe to give my adult cat? A co-worker of mine traveled from Oklahoma to Washington and gave her cat a sedative but I wanted to make sure that this was safe.
