Here is my beautiful boy Jake. He is supposedly half doberman/half rottweiler. I adopted him from a vets office around 7 years ago. He had been dropped as a puppy and suffered a broken leg. Then he had the red mange. And when I met him he was around 10 weeks old and had been living in a little vet's office cage for a few weeks. He was half bald, shook like a leaf, and peed all over the table when I spoke to him. I petted him and spoke gently and the little devil put his paws on my chest and licked my face. He is still one of the most gentle dogs I've ever seen. In fact, my new kitten hissed and growled at him and he went into his carrier and pretended to dissappear.
