I ran a search and I didn't see a thread like this started yet. I've noticed that there are a few members currently expecting.

I thought it would be nice to have a place to talk about concerns, events, cravings and other issues where other expecting members could respond and the 'seasoned' members could put input and advice.

I did start a pregnancy thread a while ago, but now it's buried among the many posts

A bit about me: I'm 26 years old and 19 weeks pregnant with our first. We've found it's a boy, and we're struggling with finding the perfect name! We had a heap of girls names...

The little stinker is very active and has been in every ultrasound so far, and I can feel him moving around all day
He was in the breech position today, but he was moving around a fair bit, and he was sideways last time, so I'm sure he'll keep spinning for a while yet!

I'm hoping to have a vaginal birth (with drugs), but I have an aortic aneurysm (heart condition), so it'll depend on what the docs say and how things go. I'd really prefer not to have a planned c-section if I can help it. I don't mind too much if I can at least give labour a go - I just want to feel the contractions and know the baby is coming out when he's ready, not when the doctor's decide they can fit it into their schedule...

I missed the thread.
Maybe I didn't search hard enough. A mod can always combine if they feel the urge.

I really respect that you want a vaginal birth. I can understand the reasoning. I think you're very brave... with your heart condition... to still want to give it a go. I know two ladies that both demanded c-sections...

Personally I do not want to be sliced open. Ick.

About me: I am 26 also. I'm currently 12 weeks... just entering the 4th month. I had one ultrasound about two weeks ago and it was amazing to see the baby moving around. The tech. even comment that for so early the baby was very active. I guess it just wanted to be sure we could see it!

I haven't felt anything as far as the baby moving yet. Its still pretty early for that and my mid-wife said that with how I'm carrying I could very well reach 20 weeks before I actually feel the baby. But so far so good. No major morning sickness. Only a few food aversions... and other odors as well. I'm just so happy I haven't vomited. When I get sick I cry. I hate vomit so much.

Currently my husband is in Korea. He's only seen the images of the ultrasound. In about 3 weeks I will be moving over there with him. Things have been stressful preparing for the move. I'm tired a lot so it can make things rough.

Other than that my only gripe is the ACNE!!!! I look like a teenager again.
