Litter tray success!!!

I have to share my joy - today has been a landmark day! The kittens are coming up to 4 weeks this weekend. Not only did Reuben do his first wee wee in the litter tray , but both Reuben and Eden had a bit of tuna to eat!!!! (Ok mum cat, Olivia, had most of the tuna lol)...but it looks like weaning isnt going to be too difficult with these two...they loved their first taste of food.

Great, however, please offer them shredded boiled chicken rather then the tuna. You DON'T want them to be eating tuna at this age - they will refuse to eat other foods. Stick with a chicken, lamb, or beef canned kitten food.

Yes I know that too well lol. Boris as a kitten was a fussy eater as I made that mistake of using tuna to introduce him to food!

The kittens have absolutely no interest in canned kitten food...it early days, so hopefully that will come in the next week or two. I'll try boiled chicken tomorrow.

lol everytime one of our kittens use the tray for the first time or has a lick of some wet food i come running in to tell my partner , he looks at me as though im mad lol. but in another way its kinda sad because there growning up and going to new homes soon. i only have 2 weeks untill anne and candy go to their new forever home.
