How awkward!

DH and I just went out for an ultrasound, and not far from work we saw 2 friends walking down the road holding hands (they work at our work as well)... Only the guy's married to someone else and has a 3 year old, and she lives with her boyfriend (ie. not the guy she's holding hands with) who ALSO works with us.

We're friends with both couples... This will make things interesting!

Ohhhh Ouch that is awkward!! If it were me.... I would act like nothing ever happened. UNLESS.... any of them is like a really really good friend of mine, then I would automatically have to say something to my friend! Good luck!

Yikes!!! Did THEY see YOU?

Nope, they didn't see us, they were to busy gazing into each others eyes... We were amazed given they weren't far from work, and the girls boyfriend works there as well - very brazen!

The guy is a little odd, and it wouldn't surprise me if he had an "open" marriage, but still.... I'm not super close to any of them, so I won't be saying anything!

Okay... Now that is awkward!!!! Hmmmmm.....

Yikes! I know the feeling. Last summer my friend and I were minding our own business having lunch at the Olive Garden....and then outside our window we see her high-school boyfriend's brother (who is an identical twin) hugging and rubbing up on his best friends wife! It had been a few years since we saw them, so we weren't quite sure which brother it was. But I've since run into her ex and now I know for sure it was his brother...and that she and the other guy are still married with children!

Best to not say anything about it.

Back in 2003 or so I had joined up with Lavalife that online dating site. A guy named "Grant" contacted me. He seemed nice enough. Divorced, 2 kids. He worked in the print industry and also played in a band part time. We talked over Lavalife a couple of times and then he gave me his phone number but gave me parameters about when to call and not to call.

I can't remember if we talked on the phone or not. I know I didn't him, so I don't think we did.

Anyway, about a week or so later I was assigned to work on an old regular ward at the hospital (I am now a hospital float and go ward to ward instead of working on one ward all of the time). One of the nurses I was working with happened to mention her husband during morning report..his name is Grant. I had totally forgotten about her and him. I knew her from back when I worked on the ward regularly. Her husband's name is "Grant", he works in the print industry and plays in a band part time, and they have 2 kids. According to what she said in report that morning, they sounded very married.

Now in a city of 700,000 I'm sure there are lots of Grants who play in a band, but how many also work in the print industry?

I knew that the Grant on Lavalife was her slimy husband! Because after checking her work schedule I saw that all of the times he said to call corresponded with days she was working.

I thought of telling her, but decided to keep quiet. However, I did confront him about knowing his wife and having worked with her the day before. He disconnected from the chat and banned my user name from contacting him. LOL

I feel bad for her that she's with such a shmuck, but it's also none of my business to get involved in their marriage or marriage problems. She's not stupid, she will find out eventually.
