I love all cats but the first cat I remember having was a calico that my dad got me when I was about 3 or 4 and we had her uptil I was about 8 her name was Kittybabe. She was such a sweet cat. But dad wouldn't let me have a cat that was inside all the time. And she disappeared one day.

my calico, Java is a sweet, loving girl, too - the only one of my 4 who gives kisses on demand!

They're too cute! Torties and Calicos are very similar, and I have a Tortie, and I 30% own another Tortie (is my auntie's cat, but she's 30% mine!)

Copper, my Tortie:

And 30% my Biba Tortie and White:

Both are quite stupid (Copper being the dumbest cat on this earth). Are all Torties like this, or is it just my torties?

All the torties I have ever known are brilliant. Never really known a dumb cat, though. Know one that is a bit slow mentally from a disease she had as a kitten, but she's as smart as she knows how to be

My Daphne is still crazy kitten but she listens to me. Not sure if that is smart human-wise or dumb cat-wise

Just about all the calico/torties I've known have been very intelligent, including my lovely Fenwick. Now, her big orange brother, on the other hand...
