My cat Tigger has been exhibiting some unusual behaviors lately. Usually, he loves to go outside. Today, I put him out and he was crying to get back in the door less than a minute later. I've also noticed that his fur seems to be more oily than usual, especially on his back half of his body. Any thoughts?

I would suggest taking Tigger to the vet. I wonder if something is medically wrong with him.

Somewhat related story - I had an outdoor cat that all of a sudden begged to come in. He was semi feral and had NEVER wanted to come inside. I didn't let him in, though...and he disappeared completely a week later.
So the moral of the story is, listen to Tigger - he probably needs to see the doctor.
