I went braless for YEARS as a size 34B, then quit smoking 3 1/2 years ago and grew these bazonkas, so now I HAVE to wear them. I'm just about popping out of my VS wireless cotton bras, and they do NOT make them in the next size up, so I don't know WHAT I'm going to do now.

If anyone can recommend a 36D or a 38B that is soft cotton, not lined, seamless, and has NO underwiring, PLEASE let me know!!! I'll pay whatever I have to to be COMFORTABLE!!!!
I'm a 36 DD, and I've never found anything more comfortable (that I don't pop out of
) than the VS Wireless IPEX bras!! Now, I don't know exactly what material these are made of, they may be nylon, but they are SO soft and SO comfortable that it feels like I'm not wearing one at all. If you can get ahold of one in your size you should try it on, you just might like them. They cost a pretty penny, but I think they are definitely worth it.

The cotton ones have been fine. I still have the 2 I bought awhile ago. I guess I should have been more clear. The ones not made of cotton or the ones with padding get bad after time.

I swore by only sports bras in my early teens. LOL I've bought various kinds of Barely There bras and love them all. I haven't tried their sports bras though, but defitely will if I need one! Have you tried their panties for jeans? Just as comfy and no panty line sticks out.

Next time I'm in the store I'll try one. One of the reasons I have to wear cotton, though, is that I break out in certain places, and the cotton help prevent that from happening.

I know exactly what you mean! These seem to be really breathable, I have trouble with breakouts too but honestly I have them worse with the cotton ones I used to buy at wal-mart than I do with these. They really are amazing!

(another tip for those nasty breakouts is to wear a bit of deodorant there as long as your not sensitive to it) It really does help.

I just remembered, for those ladies that are in the upper size range, there is a brand of bras at Wal-mart called Curvations, they're pretty decent and only like 12.99, but they're lacy and underwire, so it's a no-go for Betsy

LOL...isn't it funny - I didn't start this thread, and I didn't mean to monopolize it, but it sure has turned out to be a beneficial conversation for me!

My problem is that one boob is a whole cup size bigger than the other, so I can only ever get a bra that fits one boob, and not the other
It's so annoying!

I'm hoping that being pregnant, and breast feeding may help even things up... who knows!

Victorias Secret is the ONLY place i get my bras from. I've worn VS bras for years and will not change that. They are soooooo comfy and supportive and the staff are always sooo kind and do fittings whenever i need one to make sure i get the right size/fit. I LOVE how comfy they are too- i went from a 34B to a 38D in less than a few months ( i randomly started gaining weight about a year ago for no apparent reason- later found out i have PCOS so that's why). They are the ONLY store i've found to have good fitting non-underwire bra in my size that is comfy!! (and pink!
) Even their bras with underwire are great too!! It's worth the cost- their bras really last if you take good care of them!

Sorry, I didn't read all 70+ replies, but if you get fitted correctly, they can be very comfortable (even underwires).

I don't like them, but they are a necessary evil, like shoes, and aren't bad if they fit right.

Never liked them to begin with (Mom and Dad had to threaten me to make me wear them because I really did need them).

They come off as soon as I can get them off and it's called "The Great Let-Down".

I don't really mind bras (me without a bra is not a pretty sight
) but I do hate shopping for them. Seems like every store I go to, I'm a different size.

Last time I went bra shopping, at Sears, I tried mostly 34C and nothing fit. I probably needed a 32D but they don't have that. At another store the 32D were too small (they had some bigger but they were $80-100 each.) Then I went to LaSenza and the cup on the 32D were too small, and they had no 32DD. But I found out by chance that the 34D fit perfectly. It makes no sense, but I was just happy to find something that fits!

Being a rather large chested woman, NO I hate bras with a passion. When I'm at home, I will NOT wear one.
I'm with you all. When I step in the door, first off is the shoes and then the bra.
