I wear a tank top under my tops, That article of clothing had to be created by a total women hater. If I do wear one I wear Barley There ( says it all)

How about the Clothes that say " One size fits all" That is the biggest lie ever
LOL My favorite is Barely There too! They are cheaper (more often on sale), and their panties are nice too!

I have tried VS bras but I wear underwire and overtime, I have found that the VS wires come out and poke the heck out of me, depite my putting the wire back in etc. The material stays alright though. VS panties last forever though, and are well worth it!

Really? I've worn VS bras for years, and I've never once had a wire come out. I wear their PINK line of cotton bras, and never had a problem

Actually, for any of us bigger girls, I HIGHLY recommend Lane Bryant. I have been getting the cheaper, made-for-little-girls-just-in-larger-sizes, bras for years. I finally went into Lane Bryant because they were having a huge sale, and OMG what a difference! These bras are actually designed FOR bigger ladies (and biggers parts
), so they support what and where they're supposed to, are so much more comfortable, and for the first time in my life, the straps don't slip down my shoulders.
Even Earl said I was "perkier" in the new bras.
Awww...thank you, but these are TOO big (they start at 40, I'm a 36D, or a 38B,) and they have molded cups.

Maybe if I get bigger, LOL...I'll keep them in mind. I like the leopard print, LOL...

Nice description!

I had one break in the middle of the left cup on a bra a few months ago... in public
Thankfully that was during the bout of chilly weather and I had a jacket on.

I'm too tiny for VS. I usually get one black and one white that lasts for years. I need new ones but can't remember where I got the last set. They fit nice and the straps are falling now cause they are stretched out. I don't mind wearing them, it's finding one that fits and does a miracle that sucks.

Actually if you go to ALL bras they run from 36C to 58 something.

I get the ones that have nothing no adjustments at all, kinda like a sports bra ( but I don't play sports )

They actually do come in smaller sizes, you just have to use the pull-downs to choose your size (I did a search for your size, and that was the only cotton one that came up). Bummer about the molded cup, thing, though. I didn't even see that.
I just saw no-underwire and stretch cotton.

After I typed that post I went back and saw they have ONE choice for the 36D size - heather gray. So I just ordered one, what the heck. It can't be worse than what I'm wearing now that's a little too small.

Thanks!

Aww... that has to make it very difficult! Especially since that industry is into pretty, frilly and apparently tiny bras.

Do you like bras?
I agree you should try a fitting... if the straps are falling off it doesn't fit right or you don't have it adjusted right. I am lucky, I wear a 36b and never have a hard time finding them. But I do feel all your pain from going shopping with my best friend. I swear bras are designed by men!

How can you guys wear bras without underwires in them? I always um... start slipping out the bottom... Although I did have an underwire stab me on a date once. That was fun. I ended up just taking it off. Luckily not a first date.

I know VS had a non-underwire version of the ones I bought. But I don't remember the sizing. They were all-cotton and like t-shirt material kind of, padded just enough to hold their shape and stop the menace THO, but not padded padded. I only bought two, should have boughten more, they were 2 for 36$

I haven't had luck with VS unless it's the gel bras. They don't have many small cups.

I don't mind wearing sports bras, but I hate wearing the strapless bras I have to wear with my sleeveless tops during the summer. I wish I didn't have to wear them, but I don't feel comfortable going braless out in public. I just can't win!

LOL - too true. I just can't even deal with the IDEA of having my skin irritated for 9+ hours. ::: shudder :::

I wish I was still small - but I guess I like being a fat non-smoker with a chest, LOL...can't have it both ways!

I'd much rather be a heavy/chesty non-smoker than take up smoking again just to shed a few pounds! Plus, I keep hearing and seeing that the boobs are the last place the weight leaves anyway.

VS doesn't make my size. Don't really like their commercials either.

I order from justmysize.com when they have sales. Can get them for about 1/2 price then. Usually buy playtex. I have purchased from Lane Bryant, too but find Just My Size has better sales. I refuse to wear underwire ever again. Too uncomfortable. Getting to be all about comfort in my old age

One of my SIL is very large up top. She has to be measured and custom fitted for her bras and they run about $70 each. Makes me feel lucky when I can get mine for around $15-$20!

Oh and yes I wish we didn't have to wear the stupid things! Should be outlawed. It is the very first thing that comes off when I get home followed by my shoes
