As far as wildlife goes- what is my speciality at the shelter where i work

wolves
foxes
raccoons

nope! (although i have worked with quite a few- they're definitely not my speciality! ) tom- one of the other AC officers is the main one that deals with them (i'm still learning a ton from him on their care/release practices/etc)

Do I get to guess again? No one else is....

I live in Memphis too.... I don't know how many of any of those I have seen!! HAHA!

yup!!!(and if i remember right- collierville?? that's cool! i'm in bartlett). and yes you got it right. wolves are my main field of expertise when we get them in (rarely ever happens! it's usually the pups we get though when we do get them- we always try to release them when they're ready ) I have a 12 year old wolf mix (momma was a wolf- daddy was a german shepherd/ norwegian elkhound mix) some idiot was trying to "create a new hybrid" she got dumped off with her litter mates at Memphis animal services over 12 years ago and they were about to euthanize her and her litter mates (#1 high kill shelter #2- hybrid animal) when we saw her and talked with them. I've been in love with wolves/mixes ever since!!! I'm also getting to learn a good deal about foxes though where i'm at now- we've had quite a few we've trapped and released in different places (omg! i never knew how many foxes we had in the midsouth till i started working there!) Your Turn!!!
