Kitty Farts & acting funny

Confetti has got gas. She was kind enough to share a whiff with me. Man...for such a little cat that sure was stinker!


What worries me....when she goes to sit down sometimes....she sorta sticks out one back foot & rolls off to the side. She licks at her butt a lot, too. She was dewormed over a week ago(maybe even over 2 weeks ago). She has had 2 solid poops, one yesterday, & one today(she came home Tue eve).

The gas could be caused by food change, right? But....what about the "funnny butt" she does?

The "funny butt" thing just might be "normal" for her.

That's exactly how Ginger lays herself down on her side: Sticks out one leg then sort of tosses herself down onto her other hip.

I've never seen a cat lay down that way before and it ALWAYS cracks me up to watch it!

It is hard to picture that sweet little Confetti letting loose with a big stink bomb!
I am not the one to give kitten advice - but I am laughing (because I am sure there is nothing wrong)!

She is very affixiated(is that the right word) on her butt, though. I mean, the gas just developed this morning. The first night I brought her home she spent a lot of time licking her butt & acting funny about it.

i take it she's been to the vet? Java had horrendous gas when i found her & absolutely loved to sit right under my chin
after she got soft stool i took her to the vet [again] & he discovered a intestinal bacterial overgrowth that took 2 rounds of antibiotics & a round of probiotics to fix. she no longer wanted to sit right under my chin, either - i think she was having tummy aches as well!
BTW - that's also how Java sits down, & she was also very interested in washing her hind end during this time period...
