I dont know if this thread has been done before, but i absolutely LOVE essential and fragrance oils. Atm ive put together lemon and rose geranium, and it's beautiful. It usually depends on my moods or how im physically feeling, and i didnt know what i wanted today. What are your favourite combinations, do you use candle powered, or electric oil burners? Do you make your own recipes for massage oils/lotions, homeopathy (with herbs and things), rosewater, lip balms, moisturisers, etcetc. Who of you here make things out of oils and what we find in nature? I'm feeling all flowery

No, I don't make my own, though I'd love to someday when I have plenty of time and money.
But I'm a big believer in the power of aromatherapy! I sometimes bake bread as much for the yeasty smell as for the taste.

And whenever I go near the Origins shop, I have to step in and take a nice deep breath. Do you have Origins down there? It's a wonderful line of natural skin care and cosmetic products, and all their fragrances are wonderful... but most especially the cologne called Spring Fever. I've never actually bought a bottle of it -- I just don't have the funds for such extravagances -- but it's the most lovely, dizzying scent... I can almost conjure it up just by imagining...

I've never heard of Origins, but the way you describe it sound slike places we have here LeDesire and Dusk which are about 95% oils/candle/silk flowers/etcetc and a little bit of body product and then the Body Shop which is like Lush, full of natural products they do all the fair trading and no animal testing etc.

I so want to live there. Mum emailed me saying she got my things today :p i ordered lemslip soap, coal face cleanser and chocolate whipstick lip balm. ive been carrying on for days but in about 4 hours i will get to try my very first Lush products!

Wow this geranium is strong *sways*
