scratch.. scratch...scratch... then I get up, go to feed her and get "mew mew MEW MEW!!" geez okay already I'll feed you, little piggy!

lol.. someone is getting soft paws soon methinks...

I hate that sound! Mine have Soft Paws but I don't replace them as often as I should. There is also a spray called No Scratch that you can find at pet stores that does seem to help. Also I have read on here about bitter apple spray but I've never tried that.

I got her this huge cat tree that she scratches when I'm out there, and a little scratcher for the bedroom, which she uses for the most part. I also have the bitter apple spray but she doesn't really care unless she is chewing on whatever I sprayed it on.

I really think she does it because she knows it both irritates me and will wake me up so she can eat. I swear the girl is a little trash compactor!
