Christmas Party was a Success...

Well, after months of planning, our annual Christmas party is over. I can now go back to my everyday tasks at the office. I feel like I have been running around and shopping for gifts forever. I, BTW won a gift myself. A 3 day weekend car rental. We are going to use it someday (it's good for one year).

Now, the best part is that I completely knocked everyone off their feet (I'm not talking with my Beauty). No one knew who I was. I walked into the hall with 10 extra inches of hair added to mine. I had such a blast. I went to the hairdressers in the morning and she placed my extensions on and did a part up-do. I wanted to wear the hair mostly down.

I think there may be tons of pictures because I had bought a disposable camera for each table. There were 12 of them and all of them are full.

Anyways....the hardest thing for me all night was that I kept leaning on my hair and forgetting about it. I'd turn my head and the tug on my head would be my reminder. Apparently I looked very young. And...I was told I looked like Britney Spears!!!! Not bad except for the fact I am probably 15 years older than her and 40 pounds heavier. *sigh* The compliment was nice though.

I plan on wearing them as much as possible. They are made with real hair and noone can tell they are extensions.

Okay....enough of this nonsense, useless talk. Sorry. For those that have followed my hair story, they know what I am talking about. For those that haven't, you probably think I'm nuts.

It was a great party, a great night and most of all: a great experience.

I've always wanted to get them but I was afraid they would fall out halfway through the night! I jinx everything, so if they are 99% guaranteed I would be the other 1%!!



Will you post some pics when you get them developed? We would all love to see the new and improved Canadian Britney Spears!

Kassandra, the big joke all night was that everyone was to pay attention to the dance floor, just in case they stepped on my hair. The extensions actually are very sturdy. I yanked and pulled and nothing doing. Even removing them was a task in itself. They are attached with little mini combs. There's also the braid/glue method but my hair was too fine for that. My fear was to drop them somewhere and actually have to excuse myself so I could pick them up. Thanks God that did not happen.

Now, Oh Gosh....please don't tell Britney this. She would be so shocked that I was even compared to her. There is no resemblance at all. I think it was just my kind hearted friends trying to be very nice. I, for one, so not believe in that comparison. I will post a picture. Promise. But just don't laugh!!!!!

We want pictures! As for the Britney Spears thing: you've, probably got WAY-Y-Y more class. At least, you probably remember the "under" part in "underwear".

This is the first chance I've had to log on since Sat morning - and I've been DYING to know what happened! It sounds like it was so much fun!!!! I THOUGHT you might want some of it down! For me, the worst problem is having my hair flop in my plate of food - Yuck! I'm so glad you had so much fun with it!!!!!

Well...I have seen some of the pictures and personally (Yuck!). I can't stand pictures of myself. But I will try to find one half decent one to post.

Today, I am getting different remarks about my hair. Everyone loved it. However, I have evolved from the Britney Spears look to a Victorian look. Guess that one is more appropriate with my age!

I'll see if I can successfully scan one tonight. If not, I will send it to one of my little 'helpers'!

First chance I have had to surf in here and read some. Ghys, I bet you did look stunning! Also sounds like your organized a great party which is hard to do! I too want pictures!
