I've posted about Sassy being sick last week, that she seemed depressed and not as active as usual.
Took her to the vet and she didn't actually tell me what was wrong with her.
She was tested for HIV and Leukemia(sp?) and Thank God those were negative.
The question is that she prescribed the antibiotic.
She has been looking very well, eats and is almost back to her old self, maybe 98%.
If there wasn't any fever nor any visible injuries, do you think that I should continue giving her the antibiotics?
I read in the bottle that it should be thrown away after 14 days and I've skipped giving it to her since Monday night.
Any advice?
I'd really appreciate it.

Do check with the vet, but the general convention with antibiotics is that even if you feel 110% before the course is finished, you still finish the course -- on the premise that you may feel fine before whatever bug has been totally eradicated, and that if you stop before the course is finished, you may allow the bug to regain a foothold -- and then be resistant to antibiotics. I can't imagine that being different with cats, but as I say, check with your vet.
