Kitty had tapeworms...

We took her to the vet and they gave her the meds to get her well. But she's been acting very strange today. She's not nearly as active as she usually is (not playing with the other cats) and the strangest part is she's started meowing. She's almost 3 years old I believe, maybe younger, and I've had her since she was a baby. During that entire time I heard her meow maybe 4 times. Even when she's in heat she makes no noise besides the occasional cooing sound. So you can imagine my shock when I heard a strange meowing and then realized it was Lady. She talked to me for a few minutes, then about 3 hours later talked to one of our other cats for a while. I'm very concerned that maybe something is wrong, that she's having an allergic reaction and feeling bad, which would explain why she keeps meowing at me. Should I take her to the vet in the morning? I'm overly paranoid because we just recently had a cat die from renal failure, and I still feel I should have realized something was wrong sooner. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

Better safe than sorry...at least call the vet in the morning if nothing else.

We took her to the vet this morning and she seemed to be doing a lot better. The vet said that it was probably because of the test and then having a pill shoved down her throat. She was just bitching at us I guess lol. But she's back to her old self, for which I'm incredibly thankful for.
