I was just at the auto wreckers and I noticed a litter box and then a few seconds later saw a kitty. My boyfriend said that it has been living there for a while. This does not seem like the type of place that a cat should live.

What does everyone else think?

If it is being fed, sheltered and cared for by the owners I don't see a problem with it. IMO, it's better off than a feral. I see cats that live in Pet Food stores - I don't see that as any different.

I bet it's a stray they're feeding... Have you been able to get it to approach you? Can you tell if it's friendly, or feral?

As long as the cat is vetted, fed, & cared for, I think it's a pretty good deal. Could be worse off....

Well I don't see a problem with it nor am I surprised. After all, all of our kitties have a tendency to put themselves in the most uncomfortable positions and they seem to like it that way. I only hope that some one is taking care of it and watching out for it.

I pet it and it let me but I didn't want to get too close because I wasn't sure if it was friendly. I just didn't think it seemed like a good place for a cat to live since there is broken glass and little pieces of metal and stuff everywhere that it could get into.
