I am soooo nervous!!

I have to get a dog out of a cage with a catch pole, being graded on knowing how to open the cage door and use a catch pole. Then lead the dog into the back room and give it a rabies vaccine and a regular vaccine. then I examine the dog, listen to heartrate and respiration rate. Take the dog's temperture while also being graded on how I interact with the dog.

THEN I have to do CPR on a dummy dog and rescue breathing, and do a fake phone call to show that I can handle emergency CPR over the phone.

Then I will be graded on cleaning out the dog's cage properly (which is kind of dumb because every vet clinic and shelter will do things diffrently) and finally there is a small written test. Throughout this whole thing, my teacher and the dog warden will be questioning me on things we learned.

Wow, I am nervous. I know this stuff but just throwing it all together in one shot...

Good luck!
I hate using the rabies pole...the dog always manages to back into a corner so it's a pain to get the dog out!

You will be great! I was really nervous when I took my Stateboard exam to get my Barber/Cosmetology License! You had to take a written and then a practical exam! The written exam was about an hour! The practical exam consisted of a haircut, relaxer, perm wrap, blow style, etc! It was 8 full hours of testing... I had about 4 different examinees over my shoulder! Sanitation was the hardest... If you clipped a hair clip to your apron you would automatically fail... You had to sanitize all implements after each use, as well as your hands, and never let the cape touch the neck (only could touch the sanex strip)! It was intense but I passed now I have it for life! Stress can be a good thing, you will be suprised how well you will do under pressure when you want something bad enough! Take deep breaths and go with the flow! You will be great, make sure to tell us when you pass!
