Friend went in for a cesarean today!

A friend of mine, B, was booked in for a caeserean today at 8:15am and I haven't heard anything yet, and I'm dying to know how she went!

Her little girl was breech, with her bum nestled firmly into B's pelvis, and the docs thought she was underweight, and were guesstimating about 6lbs, and I was talking with B yesterday asking how she was feeling and what she was most worried about with the c section, and she said she was just hoping her little girl was healthy.

She was so disappointed to need a cesarean and not even get to feel "real" contractions, or go through any of that stuff, but she was happy about the fact that she had a definite date that she would be meeting her little girl finally.

Ok ok I'm rambling, I'm just so excited for her!!! I can't wait for the email from her hubby with an update on how she is, and to get the baby's stats! He promised to stop by tonight if he came home, so he better!!!!!

Hopefully everything went well and there were no complications and no problems with the baby. Congratulate her for me.

Yay just got the email!!!! Everything went really well, and both mum and little Clara are doing really well

She was born a little after 9am, and weighs in at 6lb, 3oz - awwwww
