when doing a sig you manage to put some sort of light on the tip of something , for instance on the name tina on the *i* how would you make the *.* shine? or seem like its glowing so to speak. hope this makes sense.

One way is to go to filter>render>lighting effects...add one of the 4 effects to the dot...that will make the dot shine :-)

Also one of the 'assorted brushes' (well two infact) are spiky stars (there are also standard shape star brushes too. You can use these brushes to paint a star and then add a lighting effect to it.

Other things to play with are filter>neon glow and filter>diffuse glow.

Also on artwork (above layers on the right side of the screen), the little icon before the text icon adds effects to a whole layer when you choose 'layer styles'. There are inner and outer glows..some freaky neon ones too, that are fun to play with.

Have fun Tasha!
