Pickle was a stray from my garden. She had worms and fleas, but there is something odd about her.
She has 7 extra toes! 3 extra on her front paws, and 4 extra on her back paws.
And on her extra toes, she has extra claws! On her back paw, middle toe, she has 3 claws!!!!!!

Is this common?

It's fairly common among strays, ferals and barn cats. It's called polydactal and several of our TCS kitties have extra toes.

these cats are sometimes called for ships-cats. As some of them can use the extra toes for better climbing, and opening... . For real - or as a myth. Thus, the myth says extra-toed cats were popular as ships cats.

They are of course not ONLY barn cats. But most pedigree breeders dont breed on them.

Not very common no, but not very unusual either.
Hopefully she isnt disturbed by her extra toes and claws. Most isnt.
