I use an off-brand antibacterial soap that I refill into a Softsoap dispenser at the bathroom sink.

In the tub, I have my Aussie Volumizing shampoo and conditioner, a bottle of normal Pantene shampoo (I switch back and forth for clairifying effects) for my hair.

For my body soap I have Rose and Sandlewood Aromatherapy from Bath and Body works that is almost gone, and a Lever 2000 liquid soap that I sometimes use, it's my hubby's though.

As for what I won't use again.. Suave products! They dry out my scalp and my skin real bad. I like Biolage shampoos but they are real pricey.

In short, I spend more on my cat than I do on myself

Great replies everyone!!! Oh and one more awesome bit of information!! For those of you who want to use home made, natural products made from places that do NOT test on animals- try Lush Cosmetics!!!
I did after Allie (lionessrampant) recommended it to me (i have very sensitive skin) and i LOVE their stuff!!!!!!! Best of all- no animal testing

I'm a hardcore Lush addict, and was actually the one who enabled our good friend Nikki! She KNOWS she's opened up a can of worms by asking me thing, so here goes...this is what is in "stock" in my bathroom:

By Lush:
-Flying Fox Shower gel(My all-time favorite, even though Nikki is disguted by it! I have a HUGE bottle of this)
-Tramp Shower gel
-The Olive Branch shower gel (I only have a travel-size of this one)
-Joy of Jelly shower jelly (Nikkkkiiii.....you should have never told me it smelled like Sex Bomb)
-The Big Calm shower jelly
-A baby sample of Whoosh! shower jelly
-Ring of Roses buttercream
-Sample of Lemslip buttercream
-Sample of Skinny Dip buttercream (I like SD for what it does for my skin and its lather over Lemslip, but I like the smell of Lemslip better...not sure which I'll go for when I make my next purchase!)
-Snowcake Soap (we lushies affectionately call it "Snowcrack" because of how addicted we are)
-Rockstar Soap
-Honey I Washed the Kids soap
-I Should CoCo soap
-Ooh La La soap
-Alkmaar Soap
-Almond and Coconut Smoothie (it's like a lotion and shower gel all in one)
-And one lonely bottle of Burt's Bees (my second in command grooming products addiction) Citrus and Ginger Root shower gel.

I think that's everything I can actually WASH myself with. The actual list of how much Lush stuff I own is a bit embarrassing and alarming.

Well, might as well add my 2 cents worth...

my face- cetaphil cleanser or Crabtree and Evelyn Aloe soap. Lotion, cetaphil, unsented. I know, yucky, but sensitive face.

in the shower I last used Oil of Olay with shea butter, right now have Caress Tahitian something, but it's drying me out really bad, smells awesome though.

Hair, Infusium 23 shampoo and cond.
or Aveda Shampure shampoo and cond.

and there you have it. kinda boring isn't it?

I really like the Johnson's calming bath that smells like lavender, I use as both a body gel and shampoo because it is so mild. Since I have really short hair it works great. My sister actually makes bubble bath that she gives away at Christmas time that I use quite often as well.
If you would like to make bubble bath yourself it is very easy, she uses Baby Shampoo, glycerine and whatever fragrance she has handy. It makes great foam and you can make any scent you want.

I dont know about you guys overseas but we have a shop called the Body Shop. They are all non testing (more expensive than other brands), organic stuff, they do trading with other countries for the ingredients. Does anyone here know about them? As they are a little more pricey i just treat myself to the lipbalms and smaller things (till i get work). I just bought Satsuma (mandarin not plum) shimmer lip balm. It tastes and smells so good!! I also have the strawberry lip balm. They are called 'born lippy' not sticky, runny, gluggy etc and are nice to wear

Color me intruiged!

I like Lush because they have a zero-tolerance policy on animal testing, use fair-trade, organic ingredients...the only thing about them I DON'T like is that some of their products contain synthetic preservatives.

Have you also looked into Kiss My Face or Avalon Organics? I like both of those, too, but there's not very much selection in either line. I also like Burt's Bees a ton, but I think they buy from suppliers who test on animals (since they make a sunblock, and anything with an SPF has been tested on animals) and again, they use some synthetics. Also, a lot of places who list coconut oil are actually using SLS that has been derived from coconut oil, so always do a spot test if you're worried about SLS.

Not in the US. I'm not sure about the UK, but Lush is an English company and they won't carry it, so that doesn't bode well for you guys either. From what I've read recently, the EU may actually be more backwards on animal testing than the US is, if you can believe that!

And I still swear that Flying Fox is the most disghusting scent ever created
BUT everything else by Lush i've tried so far is SOOOOOOOOOO yummy and great on my skin!!!!
You need to get a big chunk of Sexy Peel soap and try it- it's the best thing ever!!!
I think it's time we face the fact and join Lush-a-holics anonymous

I have some Kiss my face soaps I use them for my hands .... Avalon look great but the deoderant didnt jive with my chemistry... I avoid cocunut oil that is refined or SLS is derived from unless it is mine( ie the stuff I use to cook)

They gave me a free Ma Bar this weekend and also threw in a note saying they'd give me a free 1/4 pound of soap the next time I came back in. I'm thinking I should try Sexy Peel! It's between that and Gratuitous Violets....

Oh! And Tramp + Jungle on the hair is the most sexy smelling thing EVER. And it gave me a lot of weight and shine...weight is the only thing I'm missing from Godive (I get fluffy very easily)

Ohh Lush!

I am currently using the mud flats soap right now - its new and a very interesting colour.
But it is great on the skin and smells great!

I have a bar of Sexy Peel waiting to be used.

I am lucky that I can just walk into Lush anytime I need to stock up, I just buy what I need at the time, so to have fresher supplies.

I got some free samples of:
Karma soap, Sonic Death Monkey (great for chocolate lovers!), Tramp and Skin Sin!

I should be using them!
