I am new here and possibility thinking about getting a kitten sometime in the new month or so. Right now, I'm just researching everything as I want everything to work out.

I also have two yorkshire terriers and several fish (bettas and goldfish).

Hello & welcome to the forum. What type of kitten were you after? Maybe something not too big, as it might intimidate your puppy. Something laid back? Kittens are very active & tend to bite & scratch. I have a medium & large dog & they tolerated Blossom when she came into our home. We had to watch the dogs because Blossom was only 3 w/o when my son found her. Now 8 months, she & the large dog get on like a house on fire.

Yes, I will be looking to adopt... I have two one week long vacations coming up in the next month, so I'm not going to look until mid-June.


With my two (and especially the younger one), the more hyper the kitten, the better.
