I have just adopted a cat approx. 7 years old. She loves dry and pouch food. She had very very runny poo problems. Found that when i take the dry food out of her diet she doesnt have runny poo anymore and is just fine. Tried 2 different brands and still had the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem?? Im sure it has something to do with too much fiber or a certain ingrediant.
Can someone suggest a brand if you have had this experience.
The pouch food is very expensive and would like to add dry if we can resolve this problem.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the site

I am sorry you've not had any replies as yet - I think this question would probably sit better in the Health & Nutrition forums, so maybe you could post another thread there or maybe one of the mods will move this one for you

All my cats feed on a mix of wet & dry and are ok

But have you had her vet checked, it might be a case of worms causing the problem, did you get a health history when you adopted her - things like her being spayed and her vaccinations, you certainly need to know about those things - anyway just a thought if you have already done that.

Well keep us posted and I hope you sort it soon

Hello & welcome to the forum. Are you feeding the same food she was fed at the shelter? Changing a food too quickly can cause upset. A premium dry food has more meat & less cereal if any.
