Okay, this is going to sound really odd... possibly. I need a cat. I mean... I need a picture of a close-up of a Siamese. Chocolate Point (rustling through notes) ... nope, sorry... Blue Point.
Has to be REALLY good quality and 'traceable' as in I know exactly who took the picture so I can give them proper credit.
Either that or someone in the Portland area HAS a Blue Point that i can take pictures of...
Wanna know why?
I wrote a story... a BIG story (in the 8.5/11 page format, it's currently 158 pages, which will translate to just under 400 by the time i format it for printing). It has a cat... more specifically a rather LARGE Blue Point Siamese. I am working through the editing right now and want to get it done so I can have a hard copy to present to someone for their graduation in June.
I'm self-publishing it, it's science fiction, and yes, the cat plays a large part in the plot. Some of his antics i pulled (using creative license, of course) from some of the wilder antics of our TCS felines (someone whose name starts with a number comes to mind).
So, I need a cat... or a picture of a cat. in focus, front-facing, eyes open.
Yes, I volunteer at a shelter, but there's no guarantee I'll get a Meezer there in time. This image will grace, if I'm good enough at this, the front cover of said novel. Hence the need for it to be a really good quality image.
Anyone out there with a Blue Point Meezer and a good digital camera?
Please?
Must get back to editing... argh!!!
