This is Nina she's at our shelter. It's so hard to find a home for an FIV positive cat, so I thought I'd post her photo here and maybe someone would have a hard time resisting this face or know someone that might be able to help.

She's gorgeous!
Looks like a seal lynxpoint of some sort. Look at her giving those Princess Di eyes in the first pic!

Too bad she's too far away from where I live.

I worry so much about her being there when she's positive. I know that FIV cats can live a good life, but the shelter enviornment is so stressfull. She does have her own room, with that great little cat tree. We had one person intrested in her, but I think they didn't realize what FIV was and after the researched it they changed their mind. She's only about 2 years old. She seems so healthy I can't believe she's positive.

I just wanted to post an update. We found a new loving home for Nina. Someone who used to volunteer with us and knew about her came and gave her a fur-ever home. I'm so happy for her she deserves to be a princess!

She strikes me as a cat that will live a long healthy life now that she's not in the shelter. Try as we may it's hard to protect an FIV positive cat from a serious U.R.I. I'm just so happy she's in a home!!
