I have a 1 yr old Chihuahua and usually he's hyper and playful but today he's walking around with his ears back and his tail between his legs walking slowly. He usually will jump up on the couch but today he's just sitting in front of it looking up at it. If someone is sitting on the couch and picks him up he'll just lay in your lap and falls asleep right away. If you try to move him off your lap he will start growling and nipping at you. He usually will cuddle with my other 2 cats but not today, if they get near him or anywhere he's laying down at he'll attack them and snip. He will be going into the vet today in about an hour but I just wanted to see if anyone else would know what is wrong with him cuz I am really worried with him not being like his usual self, kinda like he's depressed.

I am glad that you are taking him to the vet, I don't know what could be wrong with him.

Please let us know what the vet says.

I took him to the vet and found out he had popped his knee cap out of place. They showed me how to fix it if it happens again, I didnt even think it would have been his knee cap. He's still sore and still not playful but they said to let him rest for 5-7 days.

I am glad that it was not nothing real serious, I hope he gets to feeling better soon.
