Just noticed yesterday how identical little Lisa's markings are to her mommy Butterball. They have white in the exact same places (and about the same amount) and also I just noticed that they have the same odd number of teats. They have 5 teats on the right side and 4 teats on the left side and both have the same two teats that are rather close together. Isn't that strange?

Here is Butterball (when she was pregnant):

Here is Lisa at 4 weeks:

It is amazing!

My Tinkerbelle (mum cat) and Amelia (daughter) are similar (but opposite..ok I'll explain lol). Both are torties. One has a brown half of the face, the other side is cream/apricot. Its exactly the other way around for the other cat colourwise, but the pattern of the markings are identical. Tinkerbelle's paw pads are all pink save for the 4th one on her front left which is brown. Amelia's paw pads are all pink save for the 4th one on her front right leg which is brown!

ps - Butterball and Lisa are darlings!

That's weird. Breeders of Birmans have so much trouble in getting the white spotting correctly, and you come up with a mixed breed that matches.......
