Our 'wee horror' was born 1 year ago today.

He has had his birthday cuddles, and when I wished him happy birthday he gave me a big dribbly kiss on the nose
I am probably going to cook tuna pasta tonight and I will give him some of the tinned tuna as a rare treat

But I don't know how to tell him about Sonic's birthday gift to him. You see last night Sonic managed to steal Radar's favourite and cherished floofy rabbit fur mouse. The one he has spent the last few weeks playing fetch with. The one he carries around in his mouth. The one he forgot to take to bed with him last night. Sonic brought it into the bedroom with him and has destroyed it - he ate all the fur off it. I woke up this morning to find the leather face and rabbitskin core of the toy with just a few damp wispy bits of fur still hanging from it pathetically, the corpse placed on the pillow next to my face, a sick offering from my kitten.

So happy birthday Radar
and I'm sorry about the mouse

Awwww.... Happy Birthday Radar.
Have a special day, and I'm sure you'll get an even better mouse to replace the one Sonic tore up.

I think a birthday mouse is in order, even if it's a belated birthday present...at the rate we go through mouseys in this house, I should buy some stock.

He is in the hallway sulking. He has pulled my newly washed fleece jumper off the radiator and has curled up on it and glares at me every time I walk past.

My little boy is not a kitten any more
I don't know where the time went. He still acts like a fractious 3 month old tho

Happy Birthday, Radar! I think meowmy's fleece jumper is a satisfactory substitute for your mouse until she gets you a new one.

Happy bithday Radar.

I think Radar paid Sonic for him to to that so that you would have "guilty birthday" vibes and get him even more pressie then you would otherwise.

Silly kitty!

Radar says thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. He had a great day with his favourite foods, treats, and some tuna, he napped in his favourite places during the day, and we played fetch with him (different mouse LOL) all evening during which he performed some spectacular high leaps

The aftermath this morning - Nate got out of bed and trod in a nice wet sausage of regurgitated rabbit fur
Oh well, 'better out than in' as they say!
